The Power of Human Voice
I live for the opportunity to perform the occasional voiceover, and take a certain delight in mimicry and vocal sound effects. The song in my heart often rises to the surface and becomes the tune on my lips, be it Bono or Bing.

I find an unbridled joy in this ad from the UK, extolling the virtues of the Honda motorcar using a soundtrack of voices in the acoustically marvelous venue of a parking garage. Garrison Keillor, appropriately, does the spoken introduction.

Being a choir geek/voiceover freak myself I thought THAT was MEGA cool! I found a site that has a smaller picture but loads faster so I was able to watch it without the jagged loading stalls:

Paul Frees and Ken Nordine are two of my personal treasures/heros.
And then there's my own silly voices as well!
Thank you Obi Shawn! You have charmed me well!

Too cool. Now I don't know what I want more: a Honda like in the ad, or a drum and bass piece done entirely a-capella like when they instert the CD in the ad!

Hiya - [info]chaoswolf in [info]starwars said I should talk to you about cool ideas for a SW room party. That and that you have a cool car ;)

(since I'm only known for my LDYJEDI plates around town, I'm envious!)

So - howdy!
